Mental Health Carers Tasmania provides systemic advocacy from a carer/family perspective drawing upon lived experience to improve mental health services and the well-being of carers. Mental health carers are central to everything we do at Mental Health carers Tasmania. Our purpose is to make sure the voices of mental health carers are heard. We work with mental health carers to support them and to champion their needs and aspirations. In order to be effective, we need to ensure that our approach to engagement is appropriate, inclusive and influential.
We provide input into state and national research, policy review and development. We are active members of Mental Health Council of Tasmania, TASCOSS and Mental Health Carers Australia.
Our survey for friends, family and carers is open for you to provide feedback to us so we can advocate for services and supports for mental health carers.
You can also provide feedback on our website by going to the survey link in the side bar.
