Mental Health Carers Tasmania in partnership with The Drug Education Network are offering a two hour education session for families, friends and carers of a person with mental ill health at St Helens Neighbourhood House on Wednesday 1st August 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm and Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House on Monday 17th September 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm.
At the end of this session participants should expect to have gained more understanding of drugs, drivers of drug misuse, how do mental ill health and drug use intersect, harm reduction, what self-care looks like and how to effectively access support for loved ones who need counselling or rehabilitation services.
Places are limited to a maximum of 15 people and a minimum of 8.
