The next statewide conversations will be held in the last week of May in Hobart, Scottsdale and Burnie.
The topic for this session will be: Patient/Client confidentiality – what is it and how can families, friends and carers ensure they are heard by mental health clinicians and staff. You will also have the opportunity to give staff feedback about you and your loved one’s experience of state mental health services in a safe and relaxing environment.
These sessions are for friends, families and unpaid mental health carers and are not open to service providers.
In the February session, families, friends and mental health carers met with staff from Statewide Mental Health services in the North and South of the state to talk about alcohol and drug treatment for individuals and supports for their families for alcohol, tobacco and other drug issues.
