January 29, 2019 By Carmel

Maxine Griffiths will meet with a representative from the Inquiry on the 5th of February 2019. She wants to hear and share your comments and suggestions.

The Inquiry will:

  • consider how mental illness can affect all aspects of a person’s quality of life including physical health, social participation, education, employment and financial status
  • consider how governments across Australia, employers, professional and community groups in healthcare, education, employment, social services, housing and justice can contribute to improving mental health for people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
  • consult widely, including in regional Australia
  • consider how to most effectively receive input from particular groups such as consumers and carers

Read more about the Inquiry – including the timeline, commissioners, full terms of reference, issues paper, media release and more.
