Real Talk for Family, Friends and Unpaid Carers
You may have learned that someone you love or care about is harming themselves in some way. This can be physically, emotionally, spiritually or socially.
The information supplied through the SAFE in Oz Real Talk 2 day workshop is based on the belief that carers, family and friends of individuals who use self-destructive behaviours need to:
➢ hear from people who understand the turmoil and who can empathise with their difficulties
➢ have access to information, helpful support and practical direction so that they can begin to feel themselves part of the solution rather than adding to the problem
➢ be given encouragement and a sense of hope in their supportive endeavours.
